This policy describes how ADAS View LLC handles information when you use the ADAS View iPhone and iPad app or contact us through this website.
Registration and support
To register, you provide your name, shop name, business phone number, email address, city and state. We send these details to our Supabase backend and associate them with a user identifier, registration disclosure version and related service records. A confirmed copy is also stored on your device. We use this information to maintain registered-shop records, enable app access, administer the service and provide support. If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send.
Vehicle inspections and photos
The app stores inspection information, photos, scanned document text, annotations and reports on your device for your workflow. Registration itself does not upload inspection photos, VINs or reports. Camera and photo-library access support capture, scanning and importing features, subject to your device permissions. Review documents and photos before sharing them, and avoid including unnecessary customer or personal information.
Training contributions
Authorized training users connected to an organization can upload training photos, component annotations and associated vehicle or inspection metadata to Supabase. Uploads are associated with user and organization identifiers. Training submissions may be reviewed and used to develop, evaluate and improve ADAS View’s component identification models. Depending on the enabled training workflow, submissions may sync automatically. Do not use a connected training workflow for information you do not have permission to contribute. Contact support with questions or requests about a submission.
VIN lookups and external services
When you use VIN decoding, the VIN is sent to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) vehicle decoding service. Recall lookups and other external links may send vehicle lookup details or open a third-party website. Those services process requests under their own privacy policies. Ordinary network requests also expose technical information, such as IP addresses, to the service receiving them.
Payments
Optional support contributions are processed through Apple’s in-app purchase system. The app uses transaction information to process and confirm purchases. ADAS View does not receive your full payment-card details. Apple handles payment information under its own privacy policy.
Sharing, advertising and sale
We use service providers such as Supabase to host and process service data, and Apple to process in-app payments. We do not currently sell or rent registration contact information, share it with data brokers, or use it for cross-company targeted advertising. We may disclose information when necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations or protect the service and its users. A future change in data use will require updated disclosures and any required notices and permissions before that use begins.
Retention and security
We retain registration and support information as needed to operate the service, respond to requests and meet applicable obligations. Training contributions may be retained for review and model development. We use access controls and service-provider security features to protect hosted data, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Device backups and copies you export or share may remain outside our control.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can manage camera and photo permissions in iOS Settings and choose whether to export or share reports. To request access, correction or deletion of hosted registration details or training submissions, email contact@adasview.com with your shop name and registration email. We may need to verify your identity. Tell us which records or submissions your request concerns. Removing the app does not by itself delete hosted records; deleting hosted information may affect access to related services. Some information may need to be retained for applicable obligations or may remain in backups for their normal retention period.
Children
ADAS View is designed for automotive professionals and is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information.
